Dayı Yeğen Pastırmacılık was founded in 1960 by Ahmet Akçakoyunlu under the name 'Ahmet's Place' at Kaleönü Street, Pastırmacılar Bazaar in Kayseri. In 1989, it moved to Abdullah Akçakoyunlu's new location and took the name 'Dayı Yeğen'. In 2004, the business was expanded with the participation of Şaban Akçakoyunlu. It produces and sells Kayseri pastırma, sucuk, mantı, spices, and delicatessen products.
